The gravitation of the Earth and the Moon share a magnetic shield, which protects their atmosphere.

The moon is the satellite of the earth, we all know this very well, it is only because of the moon that life in the earth is possible, or possible. Scientists believe that the moon protects us like a shield, it protects the earth from the loss factor rays coming from the sun. As we know, our Earth was not like today, 4 billion years ago, it was burning, a fireball at that time, we have faced many situations from that time to this time. The Earth is formed 4 billion years ago, and the Moon is formed 100 million years after the Earth was created, only life after the Moon was made possible.

If a planet does not have a satellite, will life be possible in that planet?  Is satellite a boon for the planet?  How does the satellite’s gravity force work for the planet.  In this article, I will analyze these questions, and we will know how much the moon has and does not affect the earth.

If we look at the history of the Earth, we find that four and a half billion years ago, the surface of our Earth was a dangerous, hot dirt, which, long before the emergence of life, it was scorched by the temperature, and the air  Was toxic. This was the period when the Earth was in its early days, with the Sun bombarding our planet with violent outbreaks of radiation, which we know as flares mass ejections. Currents of charged particles called solar energy have threatened our atmosphere many times, our planet was a deserted planet at the time.  In that period, the moon has helped our planet as a shield to maintain its environment, and eventually to develop life and habitable conditions. According to a NASA-led study in the journal Science Advance, the moon has protected the Earth as a shield during that period.

NASA’s chief scientist Jim Green, in his new study, said that the moon presented a sufficient protective barrier for the Earth against the solar wind, which was critical to Earth’s ability to maintain its atmosphere during this time.

To understand the moon and the state of the Earth, we have to understand the brief history of the moon, if we look at it from a scientific point of view, the moon was created after 100 million years of Earth’s creation, scientists believe, that when the Earth 100  Million years old, when a Mars-shaped object called Thea slammed into the proto-Earth. Where it goes, that it was so large, that the debris from the collision accumulated as the moon, and other remnants reborn themselves in the earth.  Researchers believe that the presence of the moon due to gravity at that time stabilized the Earth’s spin axis. Researchers also believe that at that time our planet was moving very fast, lasting only 5 hours a day, after this event, the fast rotation of the Earth started decreasing, and today the Earth has a day of 24 hours.

The moon was very close to the Earth in its early days, due to which the gravity of the moon pulled our oceans towards it, the water of the oceans is slightly warmer, and they were destroying the energy, which resulted in the moon 1.5 inches per year  Was moving away from the Earth at that rate, at that time it was about the breadth of two adjacent crimes. 4 billion years ago, the Moon was three times larger than Earth today, about 80,000 miles away from the current 238,000 miles, researchers have “tidily locked” at just a few points of the moon, meaning that the Earth  Only one side sees this.

Scientists suggested that the moon never had a long-lasting global magnetic field, because it has such a small core.  As we know, a magnetic field causes electric charge, which along invisible lines, tilts towards the moon at the poles.  Scientists have known for a long time about the Earth’s magnetic field, that it creates beautifully colored auroras in the Arctic and Antarctic regions of the Earth.  Researchers say that the depth of liquid iron and nickel due to the heat emanating from the Earth’s formation is still flowing inside the Earth, causing magnetic fields that form a protective bubble around the Earth, Which is the magnetosphere.

Researchers have been by the Apollo mission, but studied samples of the lunar surface, during the study, scientists discovered that the moon was once also a magnetosphere. Researchers continue to mount evidence from samples that were sealed for decades, and were recently analyzed with modern technology.  Researchers say that, like the Earth, the heat emanating from the Moon’s formation would have caused iron to flow inward, though not nearly as long due to its size.

The moon’s magnetic shield has somehow saved the Earth, a new study shows how the magnetic fields of the Earth and the Moon behaved about 4 billion years ago.  Scientists created a computer model to understand the magnetic fields of the Earth and the Moon, by this model, scientists can understand how the magnetic fields behave at two places in their respective orbits.

Researchers believe that, at certain times, the moon’s magnetosphere would have acted as a barrier to the rains of harsh solar radiation on the Earth-Moon system, this is because, according to the model, the moon and Earth’s magnetospheres are polarities of each object. The fields were magnetically connected. Crucially for the development of the Earth, high-energy solar wind particles cannot fully enter the coupled magnetic field, and eject the atmosphere. But researchers believe that there was also some atmospheric exchange, which would have led to excessive ultraviolet light from the Sun snatching electrons from neutral particles in the atmosphere above the Earth, allowing those particles to be charged, and giving them lunar magnetic fields. The lines would have been enabled to travel to the Moon, this would have also contributed to maintaining a thin atmosphere at that time on the Moon. The discovery of nitrogen in lunar rock samples suggests that the Earth’s atmosphere, which dominates nitrogen, may have contributed to the Moon’s ancient atmosphere and its crust. Scientists have calculated that this shared magnetic field position with the Earth’s and Moon’s magnetosphere may have persisted from 4.1 to 3.5 billion years ago.

According to NASA Deputy Chief Scientist and study co-author David Draper, to know about the moon, we have to understand the history of the moon’s magnetic field, if we understand the history of the moon’s magnetic field, we not only have the early  This helps in understanding the atmosphere, but can also be known about how the internal evolution of the moon occurred. David Draper says that magnetic fields can tell what the core of the moon can be, years have probably been a combination of both liquid and solid metals at some point in history, and this is a very important piece of the puzzle right now.  That is, how the Moon works on the inside.

As we know, the moon was a fireball in the early days, the fuel ran out, its burning stopped, and over time its atmosphere also cooled, as the moon’s interior cooled, the moon lost its magnetism, And its magnetic field would have been greatly reduced 3.2 billion years ago, and disappeared about 1.5 billion years ago. Due to the absence of a magnetic field, the solar wind also snatched away the atmosphere from the moon. Researchers say that this is the reason that Mars lost its environment.

Researchers say that the moon played a role in protecting Earth from harmful radiation from the sun during the critical early times of the earth, if the moon did not protect our planet from harmful radiation at that time, then hardly the conditions were like today.  Scientists believe that there may be other moons around the terrestrial exoplanet in the galaxy, which would help preserve the atmosphere for their host planets, and even contribute to habitability.  The situation, scientists say, has been a subject of interest in the field of astronomy regarding the moon and the earth.

Upcoming manned missions can contribute to understanding the moon and in detail, modeling studies offer the idea of how the moon has contributed to the preservation of the Earth’s early atmosphere in ancient history. The moon has been a mystery to researchers even today, because its complex processes are difficult to detect, researchers hope, revealing the mysteries of the moon’s surface samples.

As Nasa prepares to send astronauts to the moon, NASA plans to establish a permanent human presence on the moon through the Artemis program. Astronauts will first send samples from the surface to the Earth from the South Pole of the Moon, the South Pole of the Moon is chosen because it is the part where the Sun’s rays do not fall, and the part where the Earth and the Moon’s magnetic  Areas are the most strongly connected, so scientists can detect the chemical signatures of the Earth’s ancient atmosphere, as well as volatile substances such as water, which have been affected by meteor bodies. Scientists have chosen the South Pole specifically for testing, scientists are interested in areas of the lunar South Pole, because this is the part where no one has seen any sunlight in billions of years, meaning the part where ever the Sun’s  Rays did not fall, areas hardened by solar particles would not sneak away volatiles, for example, nitrogen and oxygen traveled along the magnetic field lines from the Earth to the Moon, which could be trapped in those rocks, which is at the South Pole.
