In the history of NASA, the STS-112 mission was launched on 7 October 2002, this mission was originally intended to be launched on 2 October, but for some reason this mission was launched on 7 October.

Atlantis took off in time to deliver the Starboard 1 (S1) for £ 28,000.  ) Truss segment to the International Space Station.  The STS-112 carried two payloads along with it, the S1 integrated truss segment and crew and equipment translation aid cart A, the first of two manned manned carts, it will ride with the ISS Railway, and it is intended for future astronauts  Will provide a mobile work platform.
